Wes holds an Associate degree in Music and a Bachelors degree in Religion from Emmanuel College. He holds an Masters degree in Counseling from Liberty University and a Master of Arts in Religion, with a concentration in Cross-cultural Studies, from Liberty Theological Seminary. Wes has also received his Doctorate of Ministry degree from Liberty Theological Seminary. In 2007, Wes returned to the Piedmont to become the Worship and Missions Pastor at River Oaks. Wes oversees both local and international outreach. He has traveled on four continents to over a dozen countries, including visits to unreached people groups in the remotest parts of the world. On the home front, Wes facilitates decisions for local and international outreach support. Sunday mornings you will find him, equipped with his guitar and his voice, stirring each heart to worship. In his free time, if the weather is good and the season is right, you might find Wes at the baseball field with his wife, Bernée, and sons, Joseph and Ben.
