Go With A Mission

The purpose of the Outreach Team is to reinforce the mission of River Oaks to build followers of Jesus who are sent to reach others.

This page is designed to help you get to know the local ministries that we partner with and get information on upcoming domestic and international mission trips.  In the details of each ministry there is an email to a River Oaks point-of-contact so that you can ask questions about their experience serving with that ministry. You can also keep up with the immediate needs for our local partners by following our ROCC Local Outreach Facebook Page.

Featured Opportunity

Operation Christmas Child

River Oaks will again serve as a drop-off point for shoeboxes during Operation Christmas Child's National Collection Week: November 18-25. Last year, ROCC collected thousands of boxes from our members and the community, demonstrating God's love to children in need worldwide. To participate this year, you can:

  • PACK A BOX: Find us in the Coffee Bar for materials and information, or go online to samaritanspurse.org.
  • VOLUNTEER: Smiling faces of all ages are needed each day of collection week to accept boxes from contributors. Sign up at riveroakschurch.org/occ to volunteer.
