Forsyth Jail & Prison Ministries

The Forsyth Jail and Prison ministries is a community-funded ministry that provides Christian programs, counseling, and re-entry guidance for the incarcerated. Their congregation, over 1100 men and women, is located inside the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center (maximum security jail) and the Forsyth Correctional Center (minimum security prison) located in Winston-Salem. The mission of Forsyth Jail and Prison ministries is to use Christ’s love and forgiveness to transform lives and break the cycle of crime and punishment.
