Hawley House and Project New Start

Hawley House Program is a women’s substance abuse recovery facility that houses women for a period of 9-12 months and offers six months of aftercare for women ages 18 and older diagnosed with the disease of addiction.

Our Project New Start program begins in the Forsyth County Jail, where we do a weekly Bible study with the female inmates. Upon release, they are invited to attend Project New Start at the Hawley House, which is held once a week and offers a free meal. Our goal is to help stop recidivism and help these women become productive members of society.

How You Can Help:

Donations including toiletries, furniture, cleaning supplies, linens), Bible study assistance, annual YWCA Chili Luncheon support.
