Andrew Wild
Executive Pastor
Andrew Wild grew up a military brat and graduated from a small, American high school in Bad Krueznach, Germany. He later earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at West Point, followed by his Master of Theology Degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. Andrew and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2005. They have twin girls, Audrey and Maddie, and a son, Ian. In pre-parenting days, Andrew enjoyed climbing rocks and snowboarding down steep cliffs. The arrival of their children has brought lifestyle changes, but the adventures continue; the kids are teeming with daily doses of both energy and joy. On a Saturday morning, you might find Andrew working in the yard or at the park with his family. Someday, when they are older, he hopes to train for the Ironman Triathlon. As Executive Pastor of River Oaks, Andrew manages staff development, vision implementation, and fills the pulpit on occasion. He is a product of his military training, so we are learning not to be overly concerned when we hear him say things like “strategize” or “expeditionary” or “countermeasures.” We understand that he is on an ongoing mission for the kingdom of God!
